What Is Human Thought?
C.S Lewis separates human thought into three distinct levels.
1. Will – This is the first primary level where everything is real. These thoughts influence your daily activities and are on the subconscious level.
2. Intellect – Thoughts on this level are on the conscious level. These thoughts may not influence your daily activities but you are AWARE of them and have the ability to decide to act upon these thoughts.
3. Fantasy – This last final level of thought are thoughts in your imagination. Thoughts on this level are random and often capture what you dream or aspire to become. The more you focus on these thoughts, the closer you become to achieving them. 1
What Is Human Energy?
Ben Willemsen, the teacher of human energy and spirit defines HUMAN energy to “encompass both the energies associated with our physical body, as well as those energies that accompany the soul.” I tried wording the rest of this different but Ben Willemsen explains it extremely well. “The former includes the energies surrounding each and every organ of the physical body, the energy running through and around the spine, and the energies produced by the brain, in other words, mind energies. The soul – our life force, creates an energy flow that moves through and around the body as a whole, vitalizing the energy envelopes surrounding the organs. I call this flow the flowing aura. The life force creates our desire to live and learn and, mediated by the flowing aura, stimulates the brain to produce mind. The life force is also the building material for the “I am” or pure ego. It is the quality of all those energies that is ultimately responsible for the body’s ability or inability to heal.” 2
How Much ENERGY Do You Spend Each Day Worrying About Experiences, Fears, Phobias, Or Recurring Issues?
Do you realize how much energy humans waste each day on negative situations? Think about all the ENERGY it takes to worry about a situation, person, etc… Did you know it actually takes more energy to be angry or upset with someone that it does to be happy? Cherie Carter-Scott says it best, “Anger makes you smaller, while forgiveness forces you to grow beyond what you were.”
Society instills FEAR in the human simply because they want control. Every time you trouble yourself over a situation, you exhaust PRECIOUS energy on a vicious circle of negativity. You must change the way you think about situations. For instance, the individual with little money can travel around and if ALL he talks about is a LACK of money, we’ll guess what? He’s sure to have a LACK of money because that’s where his THOUGHT goes. Consequently, his energy FLOWS to the idea of not having any money. Therefore, he NEVER has any money.
What’s The Solution To This Challenge I Face In My Life?
The answer is to permanently release emotional attachments to experiences, fears, phobias, or recurring issues. This technique is referred to as flip switching.
How Will I Release This Attachment?
First: Write down thirty things you love about yourself. Do it right now. These ideas are going to be affirmations that you love about yourself.
Second, “Now, every time any type of emotion arises in your mind in regards to your issue, replace the thought with your affirmation of the day form the list of thirty things you love about yourself. At the end of the thirty days, you will be emotionally released” 3
Day One: Every time you have an emotion attached to your situation, just replace it with your affirmation such as “I love my teeth!” You may say this to yourself 100 times throughout the day. It doesn’t matter, just keep saying it!
Day Two Through Day Thirty: Perform the same exercise with the next declaration you love about yourself. Continue this exercise for thirty days, replacing the other things you love about yourself each day. Most people will forget the thirty things and just focus on the ONE thing they absolutely love about themselves. This works for some, but it is HIGHLY recommended you have a list of thirty distinct features you absolutely ADORE about yourself.
Overall, You Have The Power To Do This! Take Action Now!

add a comment
Weird question you might think at first. However, I think it is the best question you can ask yourself. It’s not a depressing question; it’s actually a very constructive question. This idea was taken from A.C. Ping’s Book “BE”. I highly suggest reading it if you are having trouble finding purpose in your life. You can pick it up by clicking here. I have separated this broad question into several subcategories. Go ahead, take out a pen and paper and answer the following questions.
1. Who will be at your funeral?
Of course your family and friends will be there, but what kind of people are they? Are they optimistic? Are they nice? Are they cruel? What kind of personalities do your friends have? What kind of personality do you have? This question is designed to make you think about the type of people you surround yourself with. Now, you might think, “Well I hangout with negative people, but I’m not like that.” This could be true for a little while, however, who you surround yourself with is ultimately who you are. If you hang around pessimistic people long enough, you too will become a downbeat person. Take action today to surround yourself with the type people you want to become. If you want to be successful, surround yourself with successful people. If you want to be upbeat, surround yourself with positive people. If you want to be an unhappy person, surround yourself with sorrowing people. It’s up to you to decide what kind of person you want to be.
2. What will people say about you at your funeral?
Most of the time when someone speaks at a funeral, it’s usually a close friend of family member who always has something encouraging to say. However, what you don’t hear is what others say or think about you. I’ve been to funerals where I could tell half of the people there had some kind of grudge or anger towards that person. Do not hold grudges against people. The individual might not make it through the day. We are all fortunate enough to be alive and we should all learn to forgive each other. I know we all have those ‘difficult’ people in our lives. This doesn’t mean you have to be those difficult people’s best friends, but do not spark up a conversation about how “bad” they are. It only starts a viscous circle. Overall, think about how you act towards other people. Are you polite? Are you considerate? Or are you unpleasant to be around? How do others perceive you? This question is designed to think about your daily encounters with others. I would rather everyone in the entire room say one kind comment about me than ten pessimistic details. You can’t please everyone, but you can control your attitude towards others.
3. What kind of accomplishments will you have achieved?
Will you have done everything you wish to have done? What will you have given back to society? Will you be happy with what you have achieved? All of these questions should inspire you to set GOALS for yourself. No goal is too big. If you think it is too big, break your BIG goal down into several small goals that will help you accomplish your substantial goal. If you want to visit a certain place in the world, well plan on doing it. Do not think you have the rest of your life to do these activities. Life is too short to waste and should be lived to its fullest. Most people do not plan to fail at life. Actually I do not know anyone that plans to fail at life. However, people FAIL to plan. Start planning your life. You will run into obstacles along your journey. Embrace each challenge with ACTION to solve your situation. Most of the time, nothing will go as planned. However, you have the power within you to take steps to achieve your goals.
Overall, the entire purpose of this blog entry is to make you THINK about your life. Look at your life at the end of it, and live it backwards. Think about everything you want to accomplish, what you want to give back to society, and all of the people involved and take action in your life. Write these questions down and look at them each month. Set your goals and live life to its fullest!

I have had a hard time finding my passion in life here lately. However, I have recently taken a self evaluation of myself. I have a house, a fairly new car, my health, a recession proof JOB, and I have lots of friends. All this seems like the perfect life right? Wrong my friend, I do love everything I have, however, I am not PASSIONATE about my job. I am making an exceptional amount of money at the job I’m at right now. However, I am not PASSIONATE about it.
It takes a lot to find what you are passionate about. Everyone has to start somewhere. I have come up with a list of questions to ask yourself when trying to find what you are passionate about. They are the following:
1. What Is It That Brings Joy To Your Life?
- Everyone will have a different answer to this question. Joy is defined by Webster’s Dictionary as the emotion evoked by well-being, success, or good fortune or by the prospect of possessing what one desires. Read that definition ONE more time. The last part is what you should focus on. Possessing what ONE desires. What do you desire in life? For some, it might be that you desire to help mentally challenged kids. I know activities such as these are performed on a voluntary basis. I know many of you reading this are involved with a non-profit/volunteer activity to help benefit these kids. However, YOU can make money helping out with these activities. Be creative, think outside the box, and I know you will be successful.
- For example, if you are striving to help out mentally challenged kids, think of a problem these kids face on a day to day basis. Find a solution to this problem. Most mentally challenged kids rely on their parents for most of their activities. THINK of a way to help solve a problem the parents face. Come up with a solution and SELL it. Call me crazy, but it could work. This is just one example of how you can do something you LOVE and making a decent living at it.
2. If You Didn’t Have To Worry About Money, What Activity Or Profession Would You Pursue Regardless Of The Monetary Value?
- Think about this question. This is kind of tricky because most people will apply for a job simply for the “benefits and pay”. I mean heck, deep down, that’s the main concern with most job applicants because they have to know what they are going to make and if they can survive off that income. I absolutely HATE money. Yes you heard me right, I HATE IT. I wish it didn’t exist. However, this is only wishful thinking and is not applicable in this modern world.
- Write down five things you would do for the rest of your life if you KNEW you didn’t have to have money to live. Take these five things and figure out what you are an expert in. Yes I said EXPERT. Many of you are experts in one thing or another. I promise you there are others out there who are interested in the same things you are. Once you figure out what you are an expert in, start thinking of ways to solve a problem in this area.
- For example, if you are an expert at computer programming, design a program for a business to help solve a problem they are having. It is very simple to figure out what problems business are having. You can either ask them directly, or research on your own and present the business with your solution to their problem. If you are not a very “social” person, simply hire someone to present your product to the business. There are thousands of sales representatives BEGGING for an opportunity to sell something unique. These people have the strategies to sell anything, but they lack the creativeness to come up with a mind blowing idea like one you might have.
3. How Much Time Will You Devote To Your Passion?
- Obviously, you have already spent a great deal of time on this already. However, every “expert” in their field does not stop learning new things. They learn something new everyday. You have to constantly improve yourself in your field. Now, you can not be selfish about being an expert in your field. You must be willing to help those who have questions about your field of expertise. You must be able to leverage yourself as a leader or expert in your field. There are MANY techniques I can show you to do this. But, I will not touch on them at this time.
- Once people know you are someone they can trust, they will be willing to do whatever it is that you tell them to do. The reason for this is because you are offering VALUE to them. You should offer a few free things to those interested. I am getting sidetracked, but you get the point. You must be willing to spend a great amount of time to help others and to improve yourself.
4. What Kind Of Resources Do You Have?
- First, let me get something straight. I am not promoting for you to quit your current job right now, but I am recommending you find solutions to replacing your income from your job with income from your PASSION. Once you find your passion, the possibilities are endless. You ALWAYS have resources. You can always ask others who are successful at what you are trying to accomplish. If they are successful, they should me more than willing to help you along your journey. If they aren’t, then try someone else.
- There is always a resource. The internet is overloaded with information. Be sure your information is substantial and that the successful person in the business is REALLY successful. If the person suggests that you buy something from them, then go to someone else. SOMEONE will answer your questions. However, the expert’s information they are trying to sell you could be very profitable in the end. Resources are important and should be constantly evaluated.
These four questions should help you along your journey. Please comment your thoughts on this. I love comments and questions. Thanks for reading!

How Does PPC(Pay-Per-Click) Advertising Work? June 3, 2009

PPC (Pay-per-click) advertising seems to be very complicated. Google uses this method to make money on their website from advertisers. When you search for anything on Google, there are usually three spots at the top in yellow on the search engine with whatever keyword you typed in.
For instance, go to Google right now and type in “free money from the government” and at the top there are three results in yellow. The reason these results are at the top is because those specific advertisers are paying per click to be at the top.
Now how do you imagine that works? Surely it must be the more money the person bids per click, the higher up the advertiser should be? Right? Wrong.
If you are serious about using PPC and do NOT want to waste your money, then I suggest you take some notes on the video I’m about to reveal to you.
Cheif Economist Hal Varian at GOOGLE explains this in full detail. So don’t take my word for it, watch this video and hope all you PPC advertisers out there understand how PPC advertsing REALLY works
Hope this all helps you along quite well. This guy is a genius and truly opened my eyes once I saw the video.
God Bless You All-

What Is An Addiction? May 12, 2009

An addiction as defined by Webster is the quality or state of devoting or surrendering (oneself) to something habitually or obsessively. One of my family members recently hit rock bottom due to an addiction. This should not be the way to live your life. If you want to be addicted to something, be addicted to something positive. However, you should not allow any addiction run your life. There are people addicted to many things, religion, politics, sports, news, etc… All of these things aren’t necessarily bad for you, but you should not allow them to control your being.
We all need to wake up and realize we all have control of our destiny. Any addiction can hinder your progress in achieving what you were meant to be on this earth. Take this time to write down ANY addiction you may have in your life. Whether it is good or bad, just write it down. Now, start to evaluate each addiction and see where these addictions are controlling you. For each addiction that is controlling you, start to think of a way to counteract this addiction and turn it into something that is ONE part of you, and not the ENTIRE part of you.
If you want to better yourself, just DO it. Don’t think about doing it, just do it. Addictions ruin many lives and I REFUSE to be addicted to anything.
Until next time,
Ryan K Jones

Why Are We So Quick To Judge? April 24, 2009
Posted by ryankjones in Uncategorized.Tags: britain's got talent, Broadway Musical, don't judge people, Facing challenges, I dreamed a Dream, juding people, Les Miserables, Positive Attitude, Positive Thinking, quick to judge people, Susan Boyle
1 comment so far
For all 23 years of my life, I have been in this mindset that NO one is like me. And you know what, I’m completely right There is NO one like me on the face of this planet. Sure, there are many people who share similar views as I do, BUT there are no two people that are EXACTLY alike. Here’s the problem with the way I was thinking, I would automatically judge people most of the time before I even get a chance to talk to them. I use to think, look at that guy/girl they think they are better than everyone or look at what that person is wearing. Most of the time, I would never say anything to anybody about it, but I would think it. I know most of you reading this are thinking, Gosh, I do that a lot myself.
Here’s some advice: Quit thinking about the differences and focus on what you have in common. Don’t judge a book by its cover. Susan Boyle, a recent hit on Britain’s Got Talent came out on the stage in an old fashion dress. This single 47 year old woman, who’s never been kissed by the way, sang “I Dreamed A Dream” from the Les Miserables Broadway Musical. Right before she sang, Simon asked her who she would like to be as successful as and she said Elaine Page. The entire audience chuckled and both Simon and the other judge gave a look like “yeah, right”. Before you watch this video, I want you to see how much she is concentrating at 1:46. Her FOCUS on the task at hand is incredible. Call me crazy but I can almost feel it right before she sings. I have watched this video way too many times, but it gives me chills every time and has taught me a valuable lesson, never judge a book by its cover. If I would have seen this woman walking on the street, most likely I would have never given her a second look. If she would have walked up to me and said she wanted to be a singer, I would have laughed at her too.
Now take a few minutes out of your day and listen to the incredible Susan Boyle sing…http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9lp0IWv8QZY. The thing that I love about her is how humble she is about her singing. This video made me realize, why do we all sit around and look at the differences we have. We should focus on the similarities and build each other up. I have made a promise to myself (and now to those of you reading this) that I should only focus on how I can connect with others. To only think postive things about other people, and to NOT judge anyone. Everyone on this planet has challenges they face each day, why NOT help them along their journey instead of hindering them?
